Three Ingredients Homemade Lavender Bath Milk

A skin-soothing treat!

This milk bath is moisturizing which is perfect if you are suffering from dry skin and it takes just a few minutes to make.

What you need:

1 1/2 cup (200gr) powdered whole milk

1/2 cup (65gr) baking soda

15-20 drops lavender essential oil

½ cup (65gr) epsom salts (optional)*

  • Powdered milk cleanses and, most importantly, naturally moisturizes skin.
  • Baking Soda gently removes dead skins cells, balances the PH, helps maintain clear skin.
  • Lavender Essential Oil to release tension, relax and relieve pain.

*epsom salts are amazing for soothing sore muscles but you can omit those or increase the amount to 1 cup if you really have tight or sore muscles. Keep in mind: when you do take baths- especially with epsom salts- be sure to stay hydrated with lots of water.

How to Make Lavender Bath Milk

Just combine all ingredients in a bowl with a spoon or whisk until smooth.

Once ready, store it in an airtight container for up to a month or as long as it remains fragrant.

You can freshen up the milk bath with a few additional drops of essential oil.

How much to use

That is really up to you.

Try about 1/2 cup for a start, but you can be more or less generous depending on your needs.

You can use mason jars or any pretty little container you might have on hand. If you are thinking to give these as gifts you can add a ribbon and a hand-written label et voila!

Super simple and really pretty.
